Google And Gemini AI Modes Can Now Help Users In Shopping
JAKARTA Google announced an update on their two Artificial Intelligence (AI) products, namely AI and Gemini Modes. Both can now simplify the shopping process in real-time.
AI mode, which can be accessed via Google Search, now supports shopping conversations. Users can use this feature to search for the desired item by describing the items they are looking for.
The conversation can be built naturally, such as talking to friends. Later, AI Mode will provide a smart ordered response. The AI Mode Answer will combine accurate price, review, and data information.
The AI Mode response will be adjusted to requests and specific formats based on user needs. For example, a search for visual inspiration such as 'sweaters are comfortable for happy hour with warm autumn colors' will display product images that can be purchased directly.
To help make decisions in selecting several product options, AI Mode can display a comparison table. The table view will include information from reviews. This will help users compare products quickly.
"You can trust that you see the latest information and unrivaled options," Google said. The company added that the accuracy of AI Mode is supported by Shopping Graph which includes more than 50 billion product lists.

Apart from AI Mode, this shopping feature can now be accessed directly through the Gemini application. Users can discuss the idea of shopping to explore products directly from the chatbot application.
Gemini now not only displays suggestions in the form of text, but also a list of products that can be purchased, comparison tables, and prices from all over the web. All of this shopping information is supported by reliable data from Google's Shopping Graph.
This shopping feature in the Gemini app is available to all users in the US starting November 13. To access it, users only need to ask questions related to shopping and they will immediately start a directed chat-to-shop experience.
