Honda And Nissan Will Establish Cooperation In The US For Car Development To Machines

JAKARTA - Two well-known automotive brands from Japan, namely Honda and Nissan, will cooperate, not in the local market (Japan) but in the United States.

Berdasarkan laporan dari Carscoops, dikutip, Jumat, 14 November, disebutkan bahwa kerja sama kali ini pengembangan mobil dan mesin untuk pasar AS.

Ivan Espinosa, Nissan's new CEO, revealed that the purpose of this collaboration is not just a moment of rotation, but leads to something permanent.

"We are discussing how we can collaborate in the US," he said.

He further said that the conversation between Honda and Nissan was very constructive and positive. In fact, according to Nikke Asia, the team from the two producers meet regularly.

The US market remains a difficult battlefield, especially after Washington decided to increase the import rate of Japanese cars. However, this collaboration could be a breath of fresh air for both companies.

As is known, the tariff fell from 27.5 percent to 15 percent in September as a result of a new trade agreement, but it was still far above the pre-tradwar rate of 2.5 percent.

Combining resources at the global level can help both brands stay competitive during the American market.

"The good thing is, the two companies have excellent reach in the US manufacturing, supply networks, engineering," he explained.
