Amidst Investment Invitation From Prabowo's Brother, Spokesperson Confirms Hashim Djojohadikusumo Doesn't Use Social Media
JAKARTA – The public is being urged to be wary of the proliferation of fake social media accounts claiming to be the younger brother of President Prabowo, Hashim S. Djojohadikusumo, a renowned Indonesian businessman. These accounts are suspected of frequently spreading invitations or investment offers.
Hashim Djojohadikusumo's spokesperson, Ariseno Ridhwan, emphasized that all accounts on digital platforms using Hashim's name and photo are false, aka hoaxes.
"We hereby declare that this is untrue," Ariseno said, as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, November 14, 2025.
Hashim Does Not Have Any Social Media Accounts
Ariseno officially confirmed that Hashim Djojohadikusumo does not own or manage any social media accounts. Furthermore, Hashim has never authorized any party to conduct promotional activities, fundraise, or offer investments on his behalf.
Therefore, any account using Hashim's name, photo, video, or image for any purpose, including soliciting investments, is confirmed to be a fake account and has no connection to him.
"We urge the public not to easily trust, respond to, or transact with parties claiming to be Mr. Hashim S. Djojohadikusumo on social media or other digital platforms," Ariseno emphasized.
He reiterated that all activities, posts, and statements made by accounts claiming to be Hashim Djojohadikusumo are entirely beyond Hashim's responsibility. The public is urged to exercise caution to avoid potential fraud.
