Searching The Ponorogo PUPKP Service, KPK Brings A Suitcase Filling Regional Project Documents

PONOROGO - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigative team brought three suitcases containing documents allegedly related to the regional development project after five hours of searching the office of the Ponorogo Regency Public Works, Housing and Settlement Areas (DPUPKP).

The three suitcases are similar to those used during a search at the Ponorogo Regent's office and the Department of Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports (Disbudparpora).

The head of the Ponorogo Disbudparpora, Jamus Kunto, emphasized that his party was cooperative during the search process and had submitted a number of documents requested by investigators.

"In principle, we respect and fully assist the ongoing legal process," said Jamus as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 13.

He refused to explain the contents or types of documents requested by the investigative team and asked that this be confirmed directly to the KPK.

"Please ask directly to the KPK. God willing, we have fully assisted and all the needs of the investigators have been met," he said.

Responding to questions about the construction project of the Reog Monument and Civilization Museum (MRMP) in Sampung Village which is being investigated by the KPK, Jamus emphasized that the project was not under his service.

"The project in Ponorogo is indeed true, but we have nothing to do with the MRMP project," he said.

Jamus stated that his party would wait for the progress of the investigation and be ready to help if needed again by the KPK.
