Jakpro Asks For Capital From DKI Budget Rp122 Billion For Two-JIS Holding LRT Design

JAKARTA - PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) applied for regional capital investment (PMD) amounting to Rp122 billion from the DKI 2021 Budget. This PMD is for the design and feasibility study of LRT train route Pegangsaan Dua-Jakarta International Stadiom (JIS).

"Rp122 billion is for the cost of consultancy activities drafting basic design, feasibility study. So, for consultant work," said Project Director of PT Jakpro Iwan Takwin when contacted, Friday, May 21.

Iwan mentioned the submission of light rail PMD phase 2A this year ranging from consultation, projected development impact, to finalization of the design of the railway.

"At the time of applying for a permit trasenya, we have obtained data penumpanngya demandnya. Then the business review, the impact of the station is what the economic impact is. Then the basic design so that we can determine the specifications of how long the station and the facilities are, what it looks like," he explained.

He continued, in the creation of design and feasibility studies made, Jakpro cooperated with a consulting firm from the United States, namely AECOM Technology Corporation.

However, Iwan admitted that Jakpro has not been able to start construction of the Pegangsaan Dua-JIS LRT. Because, the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) has not issued recommendations for the construction of lrt phase 2.

"Still the process of waiting for permission trasenya. We can only construct when the license has been issued. All documents have been sent all that is needed, now high waiting for the publication," said Iwan.

Contacted separately, Director of Traffic and Rail Transport Directorate General of Railways Ministry of Transportation Danto Restyawan admitted that the recommendation document is still being prepared.

"It's in the process, just waiting," he said in a brief message.
