LeBron James Takes Important Steps To Return To The Lakers

JAKARTA - LeBron James took important steps to return to the Los Angeles Lakers when he trained with the G League affiliate team in El Segundo, California, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, local time.

James has not played this season due to pelvis problems, a lower nerve problem on his right side.

Lakers coach JJ Redick said James trained with the South Bay Lakers, his first exercise of the season.

Redick told reporters about the drills before the Lakers played at Oklahoma City on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, or Thursday, November 13, 2025, morning WIB.

He said the reports he received showed James looking good.

"He can participate in training. Play a little with some, like, heating transition exercises and develop to 5 against 5 in half court, and get, I think around 12 to 15 possession of direct contact balls 5 against 5," said Redick.

James, who is entering his 23rd NBA season, is the league's all-time scorer leader.
