Pertamina Temporarily Transfers Fuel Supply In Bali Due To Bad Weather
Pertamina Patra Niaga temporarily diverted the supply of fuel oil (BBM) for parts of Badung Regency, Bali through the BBM Terminal in Manggis, Karangasem, due to the impact of bad weather that has occurred in the last few days.
"With this alternative, hopefully the situation will improve towards normal distribution," said Communication, Relations and TJSL Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Region of East Java, Bali and Nusa Tenggara Sunday Rahedi, Thursday, November 13.
In the last few days, Balinese people at several points have complained about the difficulty of getting fuel, especially the type of non-subsidized Pertamax at several points in Badung Regency, including in Jimbaran.
He explained that the current 6 main distribution constraints were caused by the weather from the fuel transport ship to the supply point, namely in several areas in Badung Regency, which previously went through the Sanggaran BBM Terminal, Denpasar City.
According to him, the fuel transport ship will dock the estimate on Thursday (13/11) for the Budget BBM Terminal with a cargo of 2,000 kiloliters Pertamax.
Then, it is estimated that on Friday (14/11) it will dock for the Mangosteen Fuel Terminal with a cargo of 9,000 kiloliters Pertamax.
"In parallel, waiting for the ship's stock, 200 kiloliters of Pertamax will be distributed, namely 100 kiloliters from the Sanggaran BBM Terminal and 100 kiloliters from the Manggis Fuel Terminal," he said.
In addition, he continued, from the technical side of the field, the BBM Terminal operates 24 hours to ensure that supplies on the island of Bali and its surroundings are safe.
Previously, a number of consumers had difficulty accessing the type of pertamax or non-subsidized fuel at a number of public refueling stations (SPBU) in Denpasar and Badung Regency.
The empty stock of non-subsidized fuel occurred in the area of Buluh Indah Street, Denpasar, Gatot Subroto Denpasar and a number of points in Badung Regency, Bali.
