BGN Ensures Payment Of Salaries For Late SPPG Officers Will Be Completed Soon

JAKARTA - The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has ensured that the payment of salaries for officers at the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) consisting of Indonesian Development Drivers (SPPI), nutritionists, and accountants will be completed soon.

This was conveyed by Deputy Head of BGN Nanik Sudaryati Deyang in response to public complaints regarding the late payment of salaries for Free Nutrition Food Program (MBG) officers which were busy on social media.

He emphasized that the issues that arose were not caused by the absence of budget availability, but purely administrative technical problems which are currently being resolved intensively.

"This is purely an administrative technical problem. The number of officers we have to verify is very large and some of them require adjustment to administrative status. We ensure that this process is completed soon," said Nanik as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 13.

He explained that the number of officers involved in the program was very large, consisting of around 30,000 SPPIs and accountants and nutritionists who adjusted the number to the needs of the field.

The volume of data and administrative processes in this amount is one of the technical factors that requires adjustment and resync.

Nanik explained that the administrative adjustment process was still ongoing, especially for SPPI Batch III who had not yet had the status of a Government Employee with a Work Agreement (PPPK) and some nutritionists and accountants.

Meanwhile, for SPPI Batch I and II who are already PPPK status, salary payments do not experience obstacles.

He ensured that all officers would receive their full rights. Payment of salaries that have not been processed in the last few weeks will be priced and prioritized for settlement this week.

"We have directed all Commitment Making Officials (PPK) involved to work more proactively and ensure that there is no delay in its repeat. All officers' salaries are being processed and will be labeled according to their rights," said Nanik.

Nanik emphasized that BGN has instructed all technical units to immediately coordinate in a structured manner.

"We are fully guarding every stage to ensure all officers get their rights on time, without any recurring issues in the future," he said.

As a form of transparency and rapid response, BGN also held a technical meeting to finalize corrective steps and accelerate payments.

Nanik expressed his appreciation for the dedication and commitment of field officers who have been at the forefront of the implementation of the MBG Program.

"We really appreciate the hard work of the officers. They are a key element of program success, and we are responsible for ensuring their rights are fulfilled," he said.
