The Surakarta Palace Confirms The Schedule For The Implementation Of The New King On November 15, The Figure Is Still Mysterious!

Surakarta Palace Hadiningrat is scheduled to hold a Jumengan ceremony or inauguration of the new king, Paku Buwono (PB) XIV on Saturday, November 15 at 08.00 WIB.

The information was written in an official invitation letter received by the media crew, Wednesday, November 12. The letter was signed by the first daughter of the late PB XIII, Gusti Kanjeng Ratu (GKR) Timoer Rumbai Kusuma Dewayani.

However, the invitation did not include the name of the new king who will be named PB XIV, causing a big question mark among the people and observers of Javanese culture.

"In response to the various questions and confirmations that came in, we submitted an official letter regarding the implementation of Hajad Dalem Jumeneng Dalem Nata Binayangkare SISKS Paku Buwono XIV which circulated is true and valid issued by the Jumeneng Committee Dalem Nata Binayangkare Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat," he said.

GKR Timoer also asked for prayers and community support so that theappropriation ceremony ran smoothly and was full of blessings.

"We ask for the blessing and support of the entire people of Surakarta and the people of the archipelago so that this traditional procession runs smoothly, solemnly, and is full of blessings. Let's welcome the new king in a peaceful, harmonious, beautiful, and respectful atmosphere as the noble values of the Surakarta Palace heritage," he added.

Previously, the crown prince of the Surakarta Palace, KGPAA Hamangkunegara Sudibya Rajaputra Narendra Mataram, had declared himself the new king during the procession for the departure of his father's body, PB XIII, on Wednesday last week.

However, until now, the Palace has not provided an official statement whether Hamangkunegara will be named PB XIV or there is another figure who will occupy the throne of Kasunanan Surakarta.
