Continue The Legal Process, YPPBA Affirms Student Learning Rights To Remain A Priority
JAKARTA - The Pioneer Foundation for Active Learning Education (YPPBA) filed an appeal regarding the decision of the panel of judges at the South Jakarta District Court which stated that the lawsuit against the Abadi Tunas Foundation (YBTA) regarding the management of the Indonesian HighScope School (SHI) Rancamaya, Bogor, West Java, could not be accepted (Niet Ontvankelijk Verklaard).
"We have submitted the appeal legal effort on November 3, 2025 through the South Jakarta District Court to be forwarded to the DKI Jakarta High Court," said Andi Nursatanggi M, SH, MH from Aghasar Law Firm as the attorney for YPPBA.
The dispute between YPPBA and YBTA which continues until this Appeal effort is related to the default carried out by YBTA. Where YBTA was previously a partner of YPPBA in managing the HighScope Indonesia School located in Rancamaya (SHI Rancamaya).
This dispute occurred because of the default and violation of the agreement made by YBTA, HighScope Indonesia through YPPBA with thorough considerations and finally decided to take over the management of SHI Rancamaya in order to maintain the continuity of student education and teacher welfare.
Regarding this legal problem, YPPBA ensures that it will not interfere with the teaching and learning process that is currently underway. This is in accordance with YPPBA's commitment to always prioritize the importance of maintaining a safe and positive learning atmosphere for students and parents.
YPPBA wants classrooms to remain a place for children to grow in confidence, creativity, and the spirit of learning, regardless of the legal dynamics that occur. Therefore, all energy and YPPBA focus are directed to ensure that learning and learning activities run conducive and sustainable. We hope that there will be no more parties who interfere with the teaching and learning process by disseminating false information," said Andi Nursatanggi.
YPPBA sees that education should not be seen solely as a dispute of interest, but rather as placing education as a realm of collaboration.
