BNI Distributes IDR 40.7 Billion Of Housing Program Loans Until October 2025

JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) continues to strengthen its support for the housing sector through the Housing Program Credit (KPP) program targeting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Until the end of October 2025, BNI has disbursed financing of IDR 40.7 billion to 41 MSME actors, both on the supply side and demand (demand).

The distribution consists of Rp28.1 billion for the supply side to seven MSME actors, and Rp12.66 billion for the demand side to 34 MSME actors. This achievement is equivalent to 15.2 percent of the total national KPP distribution, which according to data from the Ministry of PUPR has reached Rp267 billion with 117 debtors.

BNI Commercial Banking Director Muhammad Iqbal said the KPP program was here to expand access to financing in the housing sector, as well as help business actors strengthen competitiveness in the real sector.

BNI is committed to becoming a strategic partner of the government in expanding access to financing for business actors in the housing sector, both in terms of supply and demand. Through this program, we want to ensure that MSME actors can grow sustainably while contributing to meeting the needs of decent houses for the community," Iqbal said in a written statement, Thursday, November 13.

He explained, on the supply side, KPP supports developers, contractors, and MSME actors in land acquisition, building materials, as well as goods and services. Meanwhile, on the demand side, this facility can be used to buy, build, or renovate houses and shops that support business activities.

In maintaining the quality of financing, BNI implemented various risk mitigation measures, including optimizing the housing ecosystem by involving developers, contractors, and MSMEs for building materials; synergy with local governments and developers to ensure legality of assets and business eligibility; to the use of Risk Acceptance Criteria (RAC) and Credit Scoring System in assessing the character and capacity of prospective debtors.

"BNI also monitors credit portfolios regularly so that they remain in accordance with the company's risk profile," he continued.

Iqbal added that BNI is optimistic that it can exceed the target of distributing Housing KUR by Rp250 billion by the end of the year, with a portion of Rp100 billion on the supply side and Rp150 billion on the demand side. This program is considered an innovative solution for micro and small business actors to own a house that can also function as a place of business.

As an acceleration step, BNI also strengthens collaboration with local governments and developer associations throughout Indonesia. One form of synergy is the National KPP Socialization activity which was held with the Ministry of PUPR in Sutera Hall, Alam Sutera, Tangerang, on September 26, 2025.

"Collaboration across stakeholders is the key in accelerating the realization of the national housing program as well as encouraging the growth of the real sector through empowering MSMEs," said Iqbal.
