Direct Visit Seeing Mitsubishi Fuso Truck Production Process At KRM

JAKARTA - PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), an authorized commercial vehicle distributor from Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) is building an independent industrial ecosystem in Indonesia.

Not only upstream but also downstream by having independent production facilities carried out by PT. Krama Yudha Ratu Motor (KRM) and PT Mitsubishi Krama Yudha Motors and Manufacturing (MKM).

This time Fuso invited the media crew to see firsthand the stages of production supported by 100 local supplier companies as providers of parts.

PT KRM President Director Duljatmono said the KRM factory consists of one production line that assembles various types of Fuso Fighter X trucks and Canter trucks at once alternately for a certain period.

"The current factory capacity is 60,000 units per year in 1 shift, if 2 shifts to 120 thousand units per year. The current factory utilization is only 45 percent or produces 25,000 trucks per year because market demand is decreasing," said Duljatmono, when met in the Cakung area, East Jakarta, Wednesday, November 13.

This time the VOI team saw firsthand the production from Fighter X, starting from the chassis assembly, engine installation, to running tests, to ensure that each unit met performance and security standards.

The latest truck product that we released last September 2025 was the X FM 65F 4x2 tracer head fighter. This is a product that the market has been waiting for," he added.

The KRM factory itself has an area of 135,000 square meters divided into an A factory area of 42,000 square meters, a B factory area of 25,000 square meters and a cargo area of 68,000 square meters.
