The Test Of Chery Fulwin X3L's Resilience On The Tianmen Mountain Stairs Failed, This Is The Cause
JAKARTA Chery Automobile's efforts to test Fulwin X3L's toughness on the extreme path of Mount Tianmen's Heaven's Land failed. The car slid back and hit the safety fence until it went viral on social media.
The incident occurred on November 12 when the vehicle tried to beat the steep ladder nearly 300 meters long and was about 150 meters high. The route has an average slope of 45 degrees, with some parts reaching more than 60 degrees.
The trial then stopped after the car was unable to continue climbing and lost traction on a tourist attraction known as its 999 households. The incident also attracted the attention of several parties there.
Witnesses reported seeing the vehicle fail to climb the stairs, then slide back and penetrate some of the fence. "The car was in the same place for two hours without moving," said one of the witnesses quoted by Carnewschina, Thursday, November 13.
A local tour guide confirmed that the tourist area was closed to tourists on November 12 and 13 for the Chery event. Chery also gave an explanation about the main cause of the incident.
