KNPB Documents And Dozens Of Sharp Weapons Found In Uncen Student Dormitory
JAKARTA - Documents of the West Papua National Committee (KNPB) and dozens of sharp weapons (sajam) were found during the emptying of student dormitories and rusunawa of Cenderawasih University in Waena, Jayapura, Papua.
A total of 800 TNI-Polri security forces were deployed to empty the student dormitories and rusunawa Uncen Jayapura.
Jayapura Police Chief Kombes Gustav Urbina admitted during the emptying that he found a number of attributes and documents of the West Papua National Committee (KNPB) which became a wing organization of the Free Papua movement in the student dormitory.
"When emptying did not find the board and members of the KNPB," he was quoted as saying by Antara, Friday, May 21.
From the results of the examination was found many residents are not students Uncen.
In addition, livestock pens and residents who have had children and live in rusunawa.
The joint team also found 18 motorcycle units that were suspected to be the result of theft in the emptying activities of the dormitory and uncen rusunawa.
"Rusunawa is suspected to be one of the centers of stolen motorcycle hideouts in Jayapura," explained Kombes Urbinas.
