Bajaj Confirms Ready To Produce Premium Electric Motors

JAKARTA A well-known motorcycle manufacturer from India, Bajaj Auto, has just announced a major innovation that is ready to heat up competition in the global electric motorcycle segment.

In its latest earnings report, the EU-based manufacturer officially confirmed that it is developing an all-new electric motor platform designed and fully engineered by their internal team.

This advanced architectural platform is not only aimed at one model, but will become the foundation for a variety of electric motorcycles, ranging from affordable and relevant commuter models for the wider community, to high-performance and premium models.

Bajaj Auto Executive Director, Rakesh Sharma, explained that the development of this platform is part of the persistent R&D push carried out by the company.

Market analysis predicts the first product of this all-new electric platform will most likely be in the form of a commuting motor to test in the bulk market segment.
