JAKARTA - The U-17 Indonesian national team coach, Nova Arianto, conveyed a message of emotion for his team after being officially eliminated from the 2025 U-17 World Cup.

The first thing the coach emphasized was a thank you to all the players, the entire team, and all those who had been involved during the struggle.

He also advised his foster children not to stop fighting even though they were already at this point.

"I also want to thank all the players who have been involved, managers, and officials of the Indonesian U-17 National Team (Timnas) for all your hard work, since this team was formed from the beginning of 2024 to the present."

"Certainly, there were many sacrifices made by both players and staff until we finally arrived at our final destination at the U-17 World Cup," Nova Arianto said on Instagram quoted Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

The U-17 Indonesian national team were eliminated from the U-17 World Cup after failing to compete in the final standings of the best third place.

The Garuda Nusantara squad finished in 10th position in the best third-placed final standings. Meanwhile, based on applicable regulations, only eight teams have the right to qualify for the last 32 through this route.

However, Nova hopes that the players will not get involved in being disappointed. He wants the experience of appearing in the U-17 World Cup to be a lesson so that his players can have a better career.

"Never stop here, your journey is still long, and take all your experience as long as you appear in the U-17 World Cup because of course you will advance to class," said Nova.

Finally, Nova also did not forget to give appreciation to all supporters who faithfully support the U-17 Indonesian national team wherever they compete.

"I don't forget to express my deepest gratitude to all football lovers in Indonesia and Garuda supporters in Qatar who never stopped supporting and giving support to us during our appearance at the U-17 World Cup. Of course it is a motivation for players to be able to perform more optimally," said Nova.
