Missing 7 Days, Elderly Body In Bali Found In A 30 Meter Gorge
The Bali joint SAR team found the body of an elderly woman or grandmother named Ni Wayan Ratu (75) under a ravine.
The victim was previously reported missing in the Panglega area, Datah Village, Abang District, Karangasem Regency, Bali, on Friday (7/11).
The victim was found to have left the house with two cows or livestock. This was discovered by his family when he wanted to deliver food, but it was found that the house was empty.
After seven days of searching, the joint Bali SAR team found his body under a ravine in a state of death.
"We focused the search next to the cow found. Then the team walked along the ravine below, then the joint team smelled a very strong odor," said Karangasem Search and Rescue Post Coordinator, Ngurah Eka Wiadnyana, Wednesday, November 12.
In the morning, the joint SAR team was divided into two Search and Rescue Units (RSU) and combed along the ravine where the victim found the cows. The sweeping was temporarily stopped due to heavy rain.
