Komdigi Invites Collaboration Of All Parties In Enforcement Of PDP Law

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs invites all parties to collaborate in enforcing Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection (UU PDP).

Because, Nezar revealed that throughout 2023 there were about three million incidents of data leakage in Indonesia, 62 percent of which were in the form of theft of personal information.

Furthermore, the Director of Digital Ecosystem Development of the Ministry of Komkomdigi Sonny Hendra Sudaryana assessed that the principle of privacy by design is the key so that innovation grows with public trust.

Meanwhile, the Director General of Digital Space Supervision of the Ministry of Communication and Trade, Alexander Sabar, also emphasized that the growth of digital space must be accompanied by strong supervision.
