An Earthquake Of Magnitude 6.2 M Occurred in Blitar

JAKARTA - An earthquake of magnitude 6.2 M occurred in Blitar Regency, East Java. There have been no reports of an earthquake impact.

The Bureau of Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) said the earthquake was at 8.63 LS, 112.34 BT, 57 kilometers southeast of Blitar regency with a depth of 110 kilometers.

The earthquake occurred at 7:09 p.m., Friday, May 21. BMKG announced the earthquake was not potentially a tsunami.
