Chandra Asri Group Strengthens Growth Foundations Through Graduate Development Program For Outstanding Young Talent

JAKARTA - PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group), a leading provider of energy, chemical, and infrastructure solutions in Southeast Asia, has positioned young talent development as a strategic pillar in strengthening its competitiveness and business transformation.

In line with its business expansion into strategic sectors and asset ownership in Indonesia and the Southeast Asian region, Chandra Asri Group has established the Graduate Development Program (GDP) as an initiative to develop a generation of future leaders ready to play a role in the company's transformation journey.

The GDP program targets Indonesian citizens who are recent graduates from universities both domestically and internationally, who possess excellent academic track records and a passion for development.

The initial recruitment will begin in the first semester of 2026 and is expected to attract dozens of top young talents ready to contribute to the growth of Chandra Asri Group and strengthen the competitiveness of the national industry.

"Through GDP, we aim to prepare a generation of young professionals capable of contributing to Chandra Asri Group's transformation and expansion journey. This program is a long-term investment in developing talent with technical capabilities, strong leadership, and a strategic understanding of the industry," said Suryandi, HR & Corporate Affairs Director of Chandra Asri Group, in a statement on Wednesday, November 12.

Suryandi continued, explaining that Chandra Asri Group aims to provide opportunities and play an active role in developing young talent in Indonesia.

"This program is designed as a structured leadership acceleration program to produce performance-driven future leaders who are ready to face industry challenges in an adaptive, innovative, and results-oriented manner," Suryandi said.

GDP is a Chandra Asri Group initiative to develop young talent with potential while supporting the national agenda of optimizing Indonesia's demographic dividend. Participants will undergo cross-functional experiences, receive structured learning, strengthen their leadership skills, and develop their careers.

This program is designed to equip participants with comprehensive business insight, readiness to face industry challenges, and a passion to contribute to the company's growth and transformation.

This program is also expected to contribute to the 2025-2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), in which the government prioritizes improving human competitiveness through various aspects.

Through GDP, Chandra Asri Group hopes to play an active role in developing superior human resources capable of supporting the achievement of the Human Capital Index target and strengthening the foundation of Indonesia's long-term economic development.

With a track record of more than 30 years as a leader in the Indonesian petrochemical industry and a diversified portfolio into the energy and infrastructure sectors, Chandra Asri Group continues to foster a spirit of innovation, collaboration, and leadership.

Capitalizing on the demographic dividend, Chandra Asri Group is committed to developing future talents ready to compete in regional and global markets and make a real contribution to national development.
