UK Summons Trevoh Chalobah And James Trafford To Squad

JAKARTA - England have summoned Trevoh Chalobah and James Trafford for the 2026 World Cup Qualification match against Serbia and Albania.

Chalobah defender (Chelsea) and goalkeeper Trafford (Manchester City) have been added to Thomas Tuchel's squad after Newcastle United pair Anthony Gordon and Nick Pope resigned.

Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi has reported to duty despite a leg injury and he will be questioned by British medical staff.

Gordon suffered a minor injury, which he suffered when Newcastle won over Athletic Bilbao in the Champions League last week, while Pope suffered a concussion against Brentford last weekend.

It marked Trafford's return to the Three Lions squad, which was initially backed up for Pope, after being in Tuchel's first two squads this season.

Chalobah returned to the England national team after missing the September and October 2025 camps, after making his debut in a summer friendly against Senegal.

England have qualified for the 2026 World Cup, but will seek to complete their Group K campaign with a record 100 percent.

They face Serbia at Wembley on Friday, November 14, 2025, early morning WIB, before heading to Tirana to face Albania on Monday, November 17, 2025, early morning WIB.

Tuchel announced his initial 25-member squad on Friday last week, recalling Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden.

Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott received his first call, while Adam Wharton returned to the squad.
