Alexis Mac Allister's Sister Called The Argentine National Team

JAKARTA - Kevin Mac Allister, the brother of Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, has received his first call to the Argentine National Team (Timnas).

Union Saint-Gilicoise defender was appointed to replace Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez, who was sidelined in a knee injury.

He will join his brother and Argentina squad in training in Alicante, Spain, this week ahead of the international friendly against Angola on November 14, 2025 in Luanda, Angola.

The 28-year-old thanked his team-mates at Union Saint-Gilcoise for helping him achieve his dream.

"I just want to thank everyone. Because two hours today before the game (weight 1-1 in the league against Mechelen), I received a call."

"I will fly to Alicante to join the national team. This will be my first experience and I know it's not only for myself, but also thanks to the people in this dressing room (Union Saint-Gilicoise)".

"So, I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone," he said in a video uploaded by his club while greeting his teammates in the dressing room last weekend.

Kevin, who joined the Belgian club Union Saint-Gilicoise in the summer of 2023 from Argentinos Juniors, said his family was very happy.

"My family is very happy. When I called my wife, she was already crying. So, it feels really good. Tomorrow I will make my dream come true," he said.

Kevin's brother Alexis won the 2022 World Cup and 2024 Copa America with Argentina. He has scored six goals in 41 appearances for Albiceleste.
