Loves To Make Merriefic, Mayang Lucyana Admits She Is Curious About Rock Climbing Sports
CIBINONG Musician and celebrity Mayang Lucyana expressed her desire to try new sports other than what she has been working on so far. One of the sports that caught her attention was rock climbing (climbing).
"Honestly, there is (a desire). I also have a climbing on campus. It's just that it's rarely used, usually for certain moments," said Mayang while attending the opening of the 2025 Brimob Cup Dankor Wall Climbing Championship at Pakansari Sports Hall, Cibinong, Tuesday, November 11.
The sister of the late Vanessa Angel admitted that she was interested because rock climbing is a sport that spurs adrenaline something she really likes.
"Yes, to be honest, I like sports that challenge adrenaline. So I think climbing is a one of my wish list for me to try," he continued.
Luckily, Mayang also admitted that she had no fear of heights, which were often an obstacle for some people.
"Honestly, it's not like that ( afraid of heights)," he explained.
On the same occasion, Brigadier General Gatot Mangkurat Putra, who represented the Dankor Brimob Polri Inspector General of Police Ramdani Hidayat, officially opened the Dankor Brimob Cup 2025 event. He expressed his pride because this rock climbing competition was part of the commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Police Mobile Brigade Corps.
"We are helping the government to develop people who want to become rock climbing athletes through this event," said Gatot Mangkurat.
In addition to the rock climbing championship, this event also invites the wider community to participate in enlivening and witnessing various actions by Brimob members in commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Corps.
"The age of 80 for humans is old, but for us this is not just a number. We want Brimob to continue to be useful for all Indonesian people," he added.
Through the 2025 Brimob Cup Dankor, the Brimob Corps emphasized that the values of discipline, focus, and courage inherent in each personnel are in line with the spirit of rock climbing.
"The momentum of the 80th Anniversary is a reminder that Brimob is here for the community to continue to serve, excel, and serve the homeland and nation," concluded Gatot.
