Hyundai Ioniq 6 N Can Fill In 18 Minutes, Acceleration 0100 Km/hour Only 3.2 Seconds

Hyundai Motor Company officially introduced IONIQ 6 N, a high performance variant of its electric sedan designed to provide an aggressive driving sensation while still comfortable for daily use. This car is ready to be launched globally early next year.

The Head of the Hyundai N Division, Jong-Kyun Kwon, explained that the development of this model follows the three main pillars, namely Corner Rascal, Racetrack Capability, and Everyday Sportscar. We want to present a high-performance electric car that is not only superior on the circuit, but can also be used daily with comfort," he said on Hyundai's official website, Tuesday, November 11.

In the Corner Rascal aspect, Hyundai is re-tuning the suspension geometry in order to improve convex precision. The stroke-sensing system Electronicly Controlled Suspension (ECS) and a low roll center make the car more stable when crossing a quick bend.

Elements of aerodynamics such as large rear wings and wide over-fander were also installed to support these performances, resulting in air drag coefficients. In the circuit performance section, IONIQ 6 N is equipped with up to 650 PS of power and 770 Nm of torque.

Acceleration of 0100 km/hour was recorded at only 3.2 seconds with the help of the N Launch Control feature. The peak speed reaches 257 km/hour. Hyundai also instills the N e-Shift feature which gives the sensation of gear movement like a racing car.

There are also N Drift Optimizer features, as well as N Track Manager a smart tool that allows dedicated track design, round-time monitoring, and real-time insight. The battery system supports a multi-charging architecture of 400 V800 V.

As a result, Ioniq 6N allows filling from 10 percent to 80 percent in about 18 minutes using ultra fast charging.

The interior of the car is designed to remain daily friendly. The cabinet gets a Performance Blue accent, a bucket seat made from Alcantara and real skin, as well as a steering wheel with N1 and N2 buttons. Complete safety features remain present, ranging from Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, to Highway Driving Assist 2.

In dimensions, IONIQ 6 N has a length of 4,935 mm, a width of 1,940 mm, a height of 1,495 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,965 mm. Its 84.0 kWh battery offers energy consumption of 18.7 kWh per 100 km with a range of up to 487 km based on WLTP standards.

Color choices include Performance Blue Pearl, Abyss Black Pearl, Serenity White Pearl, Nocture Gray Metallic, and Nocture Gray Matte. Through the presence of IONIQ 6 N, Hyundai emphasized its focus on developing high-performance electric cars with characters that remain easy to control in daily use.
