Saluto 125 Hasn't Launched In Indonesia Yet, Suzuki Calls This Factor A Barrier

JAKARTA - Suzuki this year presents a series of surprises with a total launch of three new motorbikes, starting from Access 125 which are claimed to receive warm and recent welcomes with Satria F150, and Satria Pro.

However, not a few two-wheeled lovers in the country hope that the S logo brand will present Saluto who has been present in Taiwan. So will the model be present in the two-wheeled market in the country?

Responding to the above, 2W Sales & Marketing Department Head of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) Teuku Agha, spoke up. According to him, when bringing Saluto the price is quite expensive.

"The motorbike is expensive. Just calculate the price of Taiwan, it has not been taxed on imports of all kinds," he said, when met in the Bogor area, some time ago.

Indeed, the Suzuki Saluto in Taiwan has been priced quite high, in the range of Rp41-47 million even though it is embedded with a 125 cc engine. Reflecting on the Indonesian market, the skutik in that segment is not that expensive.

"There is a desire to sell, but the base price is already expensive," he added.

In specifications, Suzuki Saluto comes with a classic modern design. Talking about the engine, equipped with 124 cc with a bore x stroke of 52.5 mm x 57.4 mm. This machine is capable of producing 9.26 TK at 7,000 RPM and 10 Nm torque at 6,000 RPM.

There are several interesting features embedded, such as remote safety key, plugs for USB 5V 2A model charging, LCD meter panels, full LED lighting, and quite relieved baggage under the seat.
