Make Sure No SPPG Is Permanently Closed, Head Of BGN: 100 Percent After The Incidents Improved

JAKARTA - Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana stated that until now there has been no Gizi Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) that has been permanently closed because 100 percent of those who had experienced food safety incidents have made maximum improvements.

"Nothing (SPPG is permanently closed). 100 percent after the incident has finally improved," he said in a joint broadcast with Antara at the BGN Office, Central Jakarta, Tuesday.

Dadan emphasized that all SPPGs that have experienced food safety incidents related to the Free Nutrition Food Program (MBG) have never experienced repeated incidents.

"So those who have experienced an incident, they immediately made improvements and evaluations, so thank God, those who had experienced food safety incidents were even better," said Dadan.

He stated that the procedure carried out by BGN so far was to temporarily suspend the SPPG which experienced the MBG extraordinary incident (KLB). So far, all SPPGs have proven to continue to work and make significant improvements.

Dadan continued, the SPPG-SPPG has only stopped temporary services, while continuing to improve operations, renovations, and fulfillment of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

"The way they work continues to be improved, and the time given to carry out the evaluation is on average enough, usually depending on the magnitude of the problem. After that, they usually do activities that are much better than before," he explained.

Dadan said, until now, MBG's budget absorption has reached Rp43 trillion, with 42.7 million or 51.6 percent of recipients having benefited from MBG.

He is optimistic that the target of 82.9 million can be achieved by the end of 2025.
