PTPP Review Maritime Tower, Project Worth Rp706 Billion
JAKARTA - State-owned construction company, PT PP (Persero) Tbk made a working visit to the Maritime Tower project and Kalibaru Container Port located in North Jakarta. The working visit was conducted to see the progress of the ongoing project development performance and ensure the project is running well.
The working visit held on Thursday 20 May was attended by the board of commissioners, namely: Andi Gani Nena Wea as President Commissioner concurrently Independent Commissioner, Nur Rochmad as Independent Commissioner, Sumardi as Commissioner, Ernadhi Sudarmanto as Commissioner, Loso Judijanto as Commissioner, and accompanied by Anton Satyo Hendriatmo as Director of Operations 1 PTPP.
The first working visit was conducted by the Board of Commissioners to the Maritime Tower development project located in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. The construction project of Maritime Tower located in Jakarta is targeted to be completed in August 2021.
The project owned by PT Menara Maritim Indonesia has a contract value of Rp706 billion. As of early May 2021, the progress of the Martime Tower project has reached 78.31 percent. Maritime Tower also meets green building standards that have been certified by Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI) with Gold rating.
The shape of the Maritime Tower building itself has a design concept such as the form of phinisi vessels that become its own characteristic in the office and commercial environment in the North Jakarta area. Construction of the project has entered the topping off stage where the event was held on Wednesday 19 May.
After the first working visit, the board of commissioners of PTPP together with the Director of Operations 1 and Management of PTPP continued the second working visit, namely Kalibaru Container Terminal Port. The construction project named Terminal Petikemas Kalibaru Utara Phase I is owned by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero).
The construction of Petikemas Terminal which was built since 2012 is one of the mega projects carried out by the company with the completion of the development target in May 2022. As of April 2021, the construction of the mega project has reached a progress of 95.16 percent where the handover to the project owner has been gradually handed over.
During its construction, the mega project has received visits from several state officials, namely Vice President Budiono (2014), Minister of SOEs Rini Soemarno (2015), Vice President jusuf Kalla (2015), and President Joko Widodo (2016).
"We expect both projects to be completed in time. We also hope that both projects can continue to increase innovation in every process of project development activities," President Commissioner Andi Gani Nena Wea, in a written statement, was quoted Friday, May 21.
