Police Name 5 Cianjur Students Suspected Of Beating
The Cianjur Police, West Java, named five students as suspects in the beating of a resident of Panyuhan Village, Sukaluyu District, after officers previously arrested a FA student (22) who was suspected of being the main perpetrator.
Kasatreskrim Cianjur Police AKP Fajri Ameli Putra said that after the development and examination of the FA, a number of students' names were found involved in the beating of N who suffered a number of bruises all over his body.
"Four perpetrators are minors who are still in the local pesantren, it is stated that the main perpetrators of the FA were involved in the action so that they were named suspects," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 10.
His party continued to investigate until they named five students as suspects in the beating against N, so it was confirmed that no other perpetrator or other students were involved in the action.
Meanwhile, the motive for the beating was because they did not accept that their teacher's name was insulted and tarnished by the victim's actions, so they were determined to carry out acts of vandalism and beatings not far from the boarding school.
"Currently, the five new suspects have been arrested and under investigation at the Cianjur Police, they will be charged with Article 170 related to the beating," he said.

Previously, the Cianjur Resort Police secured FA (22) a student of one of the Islamic Boarding Schools in Pasir Oray Village, Panyuhan Village, Sukaluyu District, for allegedly beating local residents.
The incident began when victim N, who received a report that his family's car was damaged by a number of students using stones, so the victim came to the scene.
When he arrived at the location, the victims became angry with the students who immediately ganged up on the victim apart with their bare hands, including using blunt objects, so that the victim suffered bruises.
The victim reported this to the Sukaluyu Police who immediately arrested the alleged FA of the perpetrators who beat a number of other students and immediately secured them to the Cianjur Police Headquarters.
