Brigadier General Wibowo: SINAR And SIGNAL Evidence Of Real Digital Transformation Of Polri Korlantas Services
The revitalization carried out by the Directorate of Registration and Identification (Ditregident) of Korlantas Polri is an important part in supporting the direction of Polri reform in the field of public services.
Through the innovation of digitalization services for SINAR (National Precision SIM) and SIGNAL (National Digital Samsat), the Ditregident Korlantas Polri presents a modern service system that is faster, more transparent, and efficient for the community.
Dirregident Korlantas Polri Brigadier General Wibowo explained that this step is a tangible manifestation of the transformation of the National Police towards a Precision institution Predictive, Responsibility, and Transparency with Justice, as directed by the policy of the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
"Ditregident revitalization is part of the reform of Polri services. We want to provide public services that are more accessible, efficient, and free of extortion. Digitalization through SINAR and SIGNAL is a clear proof of the Police's commitment to providing precise and community satisfaction-oriented services," said Brigadier General Wibowo.
Transformation of SINAR and SIGNAL Digital Services. Through SINAR, the public can now extend SIM A and SIM C online without having to queue at the Satpas. The registration process, health checks, and payments are made digitally, and SIMs are sent directly to home via postal services.
Meanwhile, SIGNAL provides convenience for vehicle owners to pay motor vehicle taxes online. This application integrates the Polri, Jasa Raharja, and Bapenda systems throughout Indonesia, so that people can pay taxes without having to come to the Samsat office.
These two applications are examples of how the Police transform conventional services into digital. In addition to saving time, the digital system also reduces the potential for irregularities, because the entire process is recorded and can be monitored transparently," explained Brigadier General Wibowo.
Part Of The Reform And Modernization Of The Police
Digitalization carried out by the Ditregident is not only a matter of modernizing technology, but also a change in the work culture within the National Police. With a digital system, the National Police apparatus is encouraged to be more responsive, adaptive, and focus on the quality of public services.
"The Police's reforms cannot only be seen in terms of law enforcement, but also from how the Police provide services that make it easier for the community. The revitalization of the Ditregident is a real example of the transformation being carried out," continued Brigadier General Wibowo.
This step also supports the policy direction of the National Police Headquarters, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, to accelerate the digitization of all traffic service lines, from vehicle registration to data management based on big data.
Towards The Police Digital Service Ecosystem
Apart from SINAR and SIGNAL, Ditregident is also developing an E-BPKB (Electric Motor Vehicle Owner's Book) and a Digital ID Registration. These two programs will be part of the Polri digital service ecosystem, which will be integrated with national data.
"We want all regident services to be connected in one digital Polri system. By integrating data and utilizing AI technology, we can improve validation, accuracy, and speed of public services in the traffic sector," said Brigadier General Wibowo.
The revitalization of the Ditregident Korlantas Polri through the digitization of public services is concrete evidence of the implementation of Polri reform in the field of public services.
This transformation shows that the National Police continues to improve towards modern, reliable, and public satisfaction-oriented institutions, presenting the face of the Police who are Precision, Humanist, and professional in the digital era.
