Manchester United Legend: Liverpool Not A Premier League Title Challenger!
JAKARTA - Manchester United legend Roy Keane said he believed Liverpool were eliminated from the Premier League title and were in crisis after losing for the fifth time in submission 0-3 to Manchester City on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
The five defeats came in their last six league games and put Arne Slot's side in eighth place, eight points behind leaders Arsenal.
Liverpool have lost four consecutive games away for the first time in 13 years and have conceded 17 goals in 11 league games.
"Right now, you can't see Liverpool as a candidate for the Premier League champions. They cost five defeats."

"I think it's a crisis for Liverpool, losing seven to 10 games to five league defeats this season, it's definitely a crisis for teams like Liverpool."
"Their defense is very bad. Winged defenders are a big problem, the centre-back (Ibrahima Konate) looks very nervous."
"You see a player hanging his feet, that's not what the champions do. Bet your life. If you don't play as a team and a little less consistent, fix the bases, stop the cross, and be an opponent that's hard to deal with."
"From Liverpool's point of view, how much do they want it?", former Manchester United captain Keane told Sky Sports.
Liverpool's summer signing, Florian Wirtz, has been in the spotlight for his performance since joining Bayer Leverkusen. Despite appearing impressive in a midweek Champions League win over Real Madrid, he again struggled.
Former Manchester City defender Micah Richards feels the playmaker has created unwanted problems for Arne Slot.
"Today we don't see Wirtz anymore and that's a problem for the manager," said Richards, who is now also a pundit.
