Burst Victims At SMAN 72 Jakarta Still Traumatized

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, Saifullah Yusuf, confirmed that the post-explosion victim at SMAN 72 Jakarta who was being treated at RSIJ Cempaka Putih was still traumatized.

"Of course they are still traumatized, yes, of course they are still traumatized. But yes, slowly we will accompany them, both from the police, from us, from RSI, accompanying children so that they can also get trauma healing," said Saifullah Yusuf, Sunday, November 9.

Saifullah explained that trauma healing will be carried out while in the hospital, at school to their respective homes.

"Thank God his parents are also grateful, yes, they are certainly grateful. First, the child can recover, the second of course at first they were worried, because they received news shortly after the explosion occurred and it was through the parents' WA group. So at that time they immediately came to school, some did not meet, met him at the hospital," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the social rehabilitation of the victims, Saifullah said that he was still waiting for the patient's condition.

"Just waiting for each condition, right, it's different for each condition. But our team will stay with their parents later, we will meet regularly. We will do an assessment, including with KPAI," he said.
