Perpetrator Of Explosion At SMAN 72 Jakarta Was An Active Member Of North Jakarta Branch Of Scout Movement

JAKARTA - The suspected perpetrator of the explosion at SMAN 72 Jakarta is known by the initials MNFH, a 12th-grade student at the school.

According to a VOI source, MNF is also active in the North Jakarta Branch Scout Movement and holds active member status.

According to records, MNF is a member of the Kelapa Gading branch scout movement, the vanguard of SMAN 72 Jakarta. MNFH's group status is enforcer.

The Special Detachment (Densus) 88 intervened in the handling of the explosion at SMAN 72 Jakarta, located within the Indonesian Navy Complex, Kodamar, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.

The total number of victims from the explosion reached 96. Densus 88 is currently investigating the connection of the suspected perpetrator of the explosion at SMAN 72 Jakarta to other terrorist networks.

"Densus 88 is analyzing whether this is connected to other terrorist perpetrators. Including the motive, that is Densus' authority," said the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Senior Commissioner Budi Hermanto, on Sunday, November 9.

However, the Jakarta Metropolitan Police have not yet disclosed the powder evidence seized from the alleged perpetrator's home.

"We will provide a complete explanation from the Forensic Laboratory Center (Puslabfor). Because scientific investigations and the processing of evidence are the responsibility of the Puslabfor. They will handle this matter with expertise," he said.
