Police Arrest Perpetrators Of Motorcycle Robbery Killing Hansip In West Cakung, Arrested At Bakauheni Port

JAKARTA - The joint team of Dir IV Bareskrim Police Headquarters, Resmob Sub-Directorate of Direskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, South Lampung Police Satreskrim and Bakauheni KSKP managed to apprehend the perpetrators of theft that occurred in West Cakung, Cakung District, East Jakarta.

"The perpetrator with the initials RS (29) was arrested at Bakauheni port," wrote the report received by VOI, Sunday, November 9, 2025.

The perpetrators of the hospital were registered as residents of Tanjung Kemala, Pubian, Central Lampung, Lampung.

RS is known to have been involved in the theft that led to the shooting in the Cakung area, East Jakarta. For further processing, the perpetrator has been taken to Polda Metro Jaya.

Previously, it was reported that the police were hunting for the perpetrator of the shooting of an hansip named Atim Suhara (42) who died while trying to thwart the theft of a motorcycle (curanmor) in Cakung, East Jakarta, Saturday, November 8, 2025 in the morning.

Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto mengatakan, tim gabungan dari Polres Metro Jakarta Timur dan Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya telah diterjunkan untuk mengusut kasus tersebut.

“Saat ini anggota di lapangan masih bekerja. Kita berharap dalam waktu dekat pelaku dapat segera tertangkap. Mohon waktu kepada rekan-rekan agar teman-teman di lapangan bisa bekerja maksimal,” ujar Budi kepada wartawan, di Polda Metro Jaya, Sabtu 8 November 2025.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto said a joint team from the East Jakarta Metro Police and the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya had been dispatched to investigate the case.

"Currently members in the field are still working. We hope that in the near future the perpetrators can be caught soon. Please give time to colleagues so that friends in the field can work optimally," Budi told reporters, at Polda Metro Jaya, Saturday, November 8, 2025.
