Kawanan Peling Curi Fasilitas Hotel Istana Ratu Johar Baru, Kerugian Ditaksir Ratusan Juta

A group of thieves with the initials H (51), JP (25), JY (30), and I (57) did not move when they were arrested by members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Johar Baru Police for reports of theft cases that occurred at the Ratu Palace Hotel, Johar Baru.

The four perpetrators were arrested at their respective homes after the victim made a police report.

The case began with a report by the victim with the initials AAG (52), the owner of the Hotel Istana Ratu, who found a number of facilities built by his hotel were missing.

"From the results of the investigation, the perpetrators stole aluminum doors and windows, air conditioning, crystal lights, electric cables, and iron pipes, with a total loss of Rp 246 million," said Johar Baru Police Chief, Kompol Saiful Anwar when confirmed, Sunday, November 9, 2025.

In the action, the four perpetrators did not act alone. They were assisted by six other people who were still DPO status, namely the initials T, Z, Y, D, A, and J.

"The perpetrators entered the hotel area by prying open doors and windows using a screwdriver and pliers," he said.

The perpetrators admitted that they would sell stolen goods in scrap metal stalls and used building materials traders.

From the hands of the perpetrators, the police secured a screwdriver and pliers as evidence of the equipment used during the action.

"We are still pursuing the other six perpetrators who fled," he said.

The police chief appealed to the 6 fugitive perpetrators to immediately surrender in a short time.

"Give yourself up, before we take firm action in the field," he said.

Meanwhile, the four perpetrators have been detained at the Johar Baru Police Headquarters to account for their actions.

They were charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) regarding theft with weight, with a maximum penalty of 7 years in prison.

"The National Police is committed to taking firm action against criminals in the Central Jakarta area. There is no room for criminals to interfere with people's security," he said. (Rizky Sulistio)
