Medan District Court Judge's House Burns, LPSK Opens Opportunity To Provide Protection

Regarding the fire incident in his house, the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) opened up to protect the Medan District Court judge, North Sumatra Khamozaro Waruwu.

"We are very open, especially since this case is quite significant," said Deputy Chairperson of LPSK Sri Suparyati in Medan, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, November 8.

Sri said that his party had reached the judge, it was just that the team had difficulty communicating with the judge.

Furthermore, he said, his party tried to meet with the Chairman of the Medan District Court so that in the facilities between the judges. It is possible that the judge limits it due to certain situations.

"For that, we still need time to be able to communicate directly to the judge. So, until today we have not been able to reach the judge, because there has been no communication," said Sri.

Previously, the Indonesian Panel of Judges (IKAHI) of the North Sumatra Regional Management (North Sumatra) encouraged law enforcement officials to conduct a thorough and transparent investigation to reveal the cause of the fire at the house of the Medan District Court judge Khamozaro Waruwu.

"We encourage law enforcement officials to carry out a thorough, objective, and transparent investigation to find out the exact cause of the fire," said North Sumatra Chairman Krosbin Lumban Gaol.

The fire incident that occurred at the Taman Harapan Indah Complex, Medan Selayang District (4/11) has attracted public attention, especially since the judge concerned is handling a case of alleged corruption involving a local government official.

The Medan City Police (Polrestabes) investigated the cause of the fire that occurred at the house of a Medan District Court judge.

"We together with the North Sumatra Regional Police's Criminal Directorate conducted a crime scene," said Medan Police Chief Commissioner Jean Calvjin Simanjuntak.

He said the process of investigating the case was still ongoing by involving policy makers related to the fire.
