JAYAPURA - In total there are 13,000 tons of rice Stableized Supply and Food Prices (SPHP) distributed by Bulog Perum Kanwil Papua in six provinces in Tanah Papua which are the areas of their duties.

The six provinces that are the tasks of Perum Bulog Kanwil Papua, namely Papua Province, Papua Mountains, South Papua, Central Papua, West Papua, and Southwest Papua.

Head of Bulog Regional Office of Papua Ahmad Mustari, in Jayapura, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, November 8, said that the distribution of SPHP rice other than being carried out by Bulog was also carried out by the TNI-Polri.

The National Police itself has distributed 800 tons of SPHP rice sold below the highest retail price (HET) of IDR 67,500/five kilograms or IDR 13,500/kilograms through the Cheap Food Movement (GPM).

"SPHP rice is medium quality rice," said Ahmad Mustari.

According to him, the price of SPHP rice cannot be above the HET, which is expected by the community to participate in monitoring and if they get prices above the HET, they can report it to the police.

This is due to the implementation of a supply stabilization program and food prices (SPHP) so that people can reach it.

"Bulog itself is ready to provide whatever SPHP rice is needed," said Head of Bulog Regional Office of Papua Ahmad Mustari.
