PBVSI Releases 14 Players For SEA Games 2025

The Indonesian Volleyball Association (PBVSI) officially released a list of 14 players from the Indonesian men's volleyball national team who will fight in the 2025 SEA Games at the end of this year.

The national volleyball parent announced the list of squads for the biennial multi-pronged event through social media Instagram on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

Rivan Nurmulki, a player who is rich in experience with the Indonesian national team, is also on the list. The 30-year-old volleyball player has often strengthened Indonesia at the SEA Games.

Rivan's squad and friends will be led by coach Jeff Jiang Jie. He previously called 19 players to undergo training camp as well as selection, which resulted in this squad.

Apart from Rivan, star players such as Boy Arnez Arabi (hit hitter), Fahri Septian (hit hitter), and Hendra Kurniawan (middle HOWer) are also included in the hat.

Indonesia has the status of defending champion of men's volleyball at this sporting event. In the previous edition in Cambodia 2023, Indonesia sealed the title after overthrowing Cambodia 3-0.

Therefore, Indonesia automatically came with the ambition to defend the gold medal at the 2025 SEA Games. This ambition may be to get a big test against the host.

The men's volleyball sport will be attended by nine contestants, including the host Thailand. The series of matches will take place on October 10-19.
