ASDP Expands Ferizy Services To Bitung Port

JAKARTA - PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) continues to expand its digital transformation steps. After implementing it in various main ports, now Ferizy's online ticket booking service is officially present at Bitung Port, North Sulawesi.

The online ticket booking service Ferizy at Bitung Port, North Sulawesi took effect on Wednesday, November 5.

ASDP President Director, Heru Widodo emphasized that the expansion of Ferizy is not just a form of system modernization, but part of efforts to build a new service culture that is faster and orderly.

"We want to provide a more effective and efficient crossing experience. With Ferizy, people can buy tickets from anywhere without having to queue at the port. Data collection becomes more accurate, and services in the field can take place more organized," Heru said in an official statement, Friday, November 7.

Heru said the implementation of Ferizy in Bitung covers three main routes, namely Bitung 'Ternate served by KMP Portlink VIII and KMP Dalente Woba, Bitung 'Melonguue by KMP Labuhan Haji, and Bitung' Tobelo operated by KMP Labuhan Haji and KMP Ranaka.

"This step strengthens connectivity between regions and supports the smooth flow of logistics, distribution of basic commodities, and tourism in eastern Indonesia," he said.

Meanwhile, ASDP Corporate Secretary, Shelvy Arifin explained that the digitization of services also opens up new economic opportunities for the surrounding community.

The Bitung Eradication and its surroundings have extraordinary potential ranging from marine products such as skipjack fish, coconut commodities in Tobelo, to the beauty of tourist destinations such as Pantai Indah Melonguane and Sulamadha Beach in Ternate. With Ferizy's support, this potential can develop faster and more sustainable," he explained.

Throughout January to October 2025, the three trajectories have crossed 22,029 passengers and 19,234 vehicles, consisting of 12,520 trucks and 4,299 two-wheeled vehicles. This data shows the high mobility of people in the area.

As of August 2025, users of the Ferizy application reached 3.23 million accounts, an increase of 24.7 percent compared to the previous year (2.59 million accounts).

This increase is driven by the ease of the Ferizy system that allows ticket purchases up to D-60 before departure, digital ticket delivery via email or WhatsApp, availability of additional passenger features, and various payment options through virtual accounts, retail outlets, and e-wallets.

"We invite the public to buy tickets independently, directly through Ferizy and fill in the data completely and correctly so that the benefits of digitization can be shared," added Shelvy.
