Kemenpora Ready To Hold Indonesia Sports Summit 2025

The Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) is ready to hold the Indonesia Sports Summit (ISS) 2025 which will last for two days next month.

The event was held on December 6-7, 2025 at the Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno Complex (GBK). This activity is a strategic step to strengthen the direction of the development of the national sports industry.

Menpora Erick Thohir said that this event was an important momentum in building an advanced, inclusive, global competitive sports ecosystem.

"Later on, representatives from athletes, policy makers, investors, entertainers, and innovators will meet in a forum, to build a sustainable and global future of the national sports industry," said Erick.

Various agendas will be displayed on the ISS 2025, including panel discussion forums around the sports economy and investment opportunities as well as exhibition and industry pavilions as cross-sector collaboration spaces.

In addition, there is also partnership and matching to bridge the cooperation between the Government and the private sector, experience zones that present sports technology innovations, and job fairs that present career opportunities in the field of sports.

"This includes being a solution to the problem of employment by holding a job fair and empowering the nation's best sons and daughters," said Erick.

This format is expected to expand insight and encourage new mindsets in the national sports industry.

The ISS is also intended to be a meeting point for drivers and reformers of the sports industry with six main pillars consisting of policy makers, sports enthusiasts, innovations and technology, entertainment, investors, and athletes.

Erick said that one of the main focuses of Sports Summit 2025 is strengthening sustainable sports infrastructure and optimizing sports potential as a driver of the economy and social development.

"Through cross-ministerial cooperation, public assets in various regions are expected to have added value through the implementation of sports activities, sports tourism, and other sporting events," said Erick.

The ISS 2025 is not just a discussion forum, but also an entry point for investment, innovation, and human resource development that will strengthen the foundation of the future of the Indonesian sports industry.

As a national sporting event, the ISS 2025 is open to the general public and will be attended by world sports figures.
