Jaecool Brings His First Electric SUV At The GIIAS 2025 Exhibition, Can Be Ordered
Jaecoo brought his latest electric car model J5 EV in the GIIAS Makassar 2025 event which was held at Summarecon Mutiara Makassar on November 5, 2025, as well as opening an order for Jaecool J5 EV which was offered at a special price starting from Rp 265 million for Standard type and Rp 315 million for Premium type (OTR Makassar).
As an electric SUV, Jaecool J5 EV offers iconic designs, extensive cabins and capable capabilities on various terrains. As the first electric SUV model of the Chinese brand in Indonesia, J5 EV features a combination of classic design and modern technology.
This vehicle has a distance of up to 461 km (NEDC Standard), with a maximum power of 208 hp and a torque of 288 Nm that is responsive on various road conditions. The design features an outdoor SUV with a wide interior, a large touch screen measuring 13.2 inches Full HD, as well as various active safety features such as 540$ camera, 19 ADAS and 6 airbags.
In addition to the J5 EV, Jaecoo also features two other flagship models, namely J7 SHS and J8 SHS, both carrying the Super Hybrid System (SHS) as the latest electrification technology that combines fuel efficiency with high performance.
Jaecool J7 SHS comes with a mix of 1.6 TGDI engines and electric motors that generate up to 255 hp and 385 Nm torque, providing a driving sensation that is powerful but still efficient. While J8 SHS as a flagship model offers 245 hp of power with the All Wheel Drive (AWD) driving system as well as premium features such as massage seat, panoramic sunset, and a 24.6-inch cluster instrument display, making it a luxurious SUV with outstanding performance.
