4 Lampung Regional Dances that are Full of Meaning and Philosophy

Tari Cangget is the most popular dance in Lampung. This dance is performed in traditional ceremonies such as harvest festivals, house building, or welcoming guests of honor.

This dance movement is agile and energetic, displaying the joy and elegance of the dancers. Cangget is a symbol of the spirit of mutual cooperation and community togetherness in Lampung.

The last is the Sigeh Pengunten Dance, which is a new creation dance resulting from the development of the worship dance. It is usually performed to welcome guests in official events or traditional weddings.
