Rizki Juniansyah Recruited Through The Career Soldier Officer Line
Head of the Information Service of the Indonesian Army (Kadispenad) Colonel (Inf) Donny Pramono said national athlete Rizki Juniansyah would become a TNI officer through the Career Soldier Officer line.
"National weightlifting athlete Rizki Juniansyah will be inaugurated as the first TNI officer through the TNI Special Skills Career Soldier Officer (Pa PK) route," Donny said when confirmed in Jakarta, Antara, Friday, November 7.
Donny explained that Rizki was recruited as an Indonesian Army officer because he had brilliant achievements in weightlifting.
In addition, Rizki was recruited through the path of a special skills career officer because he had previously bagged a bachelor's degree in certain fields.
"The person concerned has a educational background for Physical and Health Education Bachelor," explained Donny.
Donny said that Rizki was planned to undergo the inauguration ceremony for officers on November 27, 2025.
With Rizki in the ranks of the Indonesian Army, Donny hopes that all soldiers are motivated to follow in Rizki's footsteps, namely to excel and make the nation proud.
At the 2025 IWF Weightlifting World Championship, Rizki performed brilliantly by winning two gold medals in the men's 79 kilograms class, each from the Clean and Jerk class and the total force.
He also broke the clean and jerk world record through an force of 204 kilograms.
Rizki closed his appearance with a total 361 kilograms of total force, from 157 kilograms on Snatch and 204 kilograms on Clean and Jerk. In addition to the two golds, he brought home a bronze medal from the Snatch class.
From the 79 kilograms men's sector, another Indonesian lifter Rahmat Erwin Abdullah won silver from Clean and Jerk after lifting 203 kilograms.
