Pidie Jaya Police Investigate Allegations Of Persecution By Deputy Regent
BANDA ACEH - Investigators of the Pidie Jaya Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Aceh Province, have begun investigating cases of alleged mistreatment of the Head of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) for the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program in the area.
Pidie Jaya Police Chief AKBP Ahmad Faisal Pasaribu said the investigation was carried out after investigators conducted a series of investigations and filed a case at the Aceh Police.
"From the results of the case title at the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the Aceh Police, it was decided that the handling of cases would be increased to the investigation stage," said Ahmad, quoted by Antara, Friday, November 7.
The middle-ranking police officer said the victim of abuse on behalf of Muhammad Reza (26) as the Head of SPPG Gampong Sagoe, Trienggadeng District, Pidie Jaya Regency.
Ahmad Faisal Pasaribu said the persecution involved a public official, namely the initials HB as Deputy Regent of Pidie Jaya. The persecution took place at SPPG Gampong Sagoe on Thursday (30/10).
The police chief said that because the persecution involved the Deputy Regent of Pidie Jaya, the Pidie Jaya Police also coordinated with the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Aceh Police regarding the handling of cases.
"For the follow-up process of handling this case, we are coordinating with the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Aceh Police, whether it is still carried out by the Satreskrim Pidie Jaya Police or the Aceh Police," he said.
Regarding the summons and examination of HB, he said, the investigation carried out in accordance with Law Number 11 of 2006 concerning the Aceh government (UUPA).
Ahmad Faisal emphasized that this is important so that the entire legal process runs according to procedures and does not cause wrong perceptions in society.
He added that all legal processes were carried out in accordance with the provisions by upholding the principles of professionalism and justice without any intervention from anywhere.
"We are committed to enforcing the law objectively. We also ensure that every report that comes in is handled seriously and in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations," said Ahmad Faisal Pasaribu.

"I apologize for the mistake and negligence of Muhammad Reza. This action occurred spontaneously during a surprise inspection into the MBG kitchen," said Hasan Basri.
