Jakarta Is Forecasted To Rain On Friday 7 November 2025

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that all areas of Jakarta will experience light rain on Friday, November 7 afternoon until the afternoon.

Based on information from the official BMKG account on Instagram, six areas of Jakarta, namely West Jakarta, Central, North, South, East, and Thousand Islands Regency, in the morning are forecast to be thick cloudy. This condition has the potential to develop into light rain in most areas during the afternoon to evening.

"The thick clouds that blanket Jakarta in the morning will have the potential to become light rain in the afternoon and evening," wrote BMKG in its official statement.

However, unlike other areas, the Thousand Islands Regency is predicted to be cloudy during the day, while in the evening it has the potential to experience thunderstorms.

The East Jakarta area is predicted to experience light rain at night, while other areas tend to be cloudy to thick cloudy.

The BMKG explained that light rain means the intensity of rainfall is below 2.5 millimeters per hour, while thunderstorms are marked by rain accompanied by lightning and thunderous roars.

For air temperatures in Jakarta on Friday, BMKG predicts to range from 25-30 degrees Celsius in the morning to evening, and about 26 degrees Celsius at night. Meanwhile, wind speeds range from 6-9 kilometers per hour, with the Thousand Islands recording the highest speed reaching 9 km per hour.
