VOI Today: Riau Governor Langganan Becomes Another Corruption Suspect, Fourth Time

Governor of Riau Abdul Wahid was caught in the KPK's arrest operation (OTT) on November 3, making him the fourth Riau Governor to be arrested by the KPK in the reform era.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) officially named Riau Governor Abdul Wahid (AW) as a suspect in a corruption case on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

This arrest raised deep concern because Riau now has a bad record, where four governors have been caught in corruption cases in a row since 2008. Check out more information on VOI.id.
