Pupuk Indonesia Runs 7 Factory Revitalization Projects Until 2029

KARAWANG - PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) is accelerating operational improvement measures through the revitalization program of national fertilizer factories.

At least seven major projects will be implemented until 2029.

Pupuk Indonesia's Corporate Secretary, Milik Adi, said that this revitalization is an important part of the strategy to strengthen national food security.

Therefore, according to him, government support is needed so that the factory update process runs optimally.

"In the future, there will be many improvements. Then there will be factory revitalization. In accordance with the direction from the President, we must be sovereign over food," he said in Tamelang Hamlet, Purwasari, Karawang, West Java, Thursday, November 6.

Amazaya mengungkapkan, ada sekitar tujuh proyek yang akan digerap perusahaan hingga 2029 mendatang.

Starting from the revamping of Pupuk, East Kalimantan (PKT) to the Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang 3B factory project.

So that it can support fertilizer needs to increase food production in the country.

"Later, with the two projects for revitalization, we will ensure that the capacity for production can meet domestic needs," he explained.

Tak hanya itu, kata Yehezkiel, grup Pupuk Indonesia juga menggarap proyek hilirisasi.

Contohnya, pengembangan produksi soda ash yang digarap Pupuk Kalimantan Timur.

“Itu salah satu bentuk komitmen kami untuk hilirisasi di dalam negeri,” ucapnya.
