Aprilia SR GT 400 Officially Launches, Take A Peek At The Specifications
JAKARTA Aprilia officially introduced SR GT 400, an adventure-style scooter that combines the flexible character of a daily scooter with the appearance and typical abilities of an adventurer's motorbike. Its presence is Aprilia's next step in expanding the premium high-performance scooter segment.
The SR GT 400 comes with an athletic and aggressive design, characterized by double LED headlights, customizable high windscreen, gold fork upside down, and hand guard that emphasizes the adventure style. The exhaust is made higher to support a tough look, while the color selection consists of Boulder Gray, Rugged Black,bulry Gray, to a special variant of Rally Replica inspired by the Tuareg 660 model.
This scooter also prioritizes comfort and practicality. Features such as a keyless system, USB-C charging port, wide storage space under the seat, and a 5-inch TFT screen that can be connected to a cellphone via the Aprilia MIA application are added value.
Ground clearance reaches 190 mm with a seat height of 818 mm, providing an upright driving position that is suitable for various road conditions. In terms of performance, Aprilia SR GT 400 carries a 400 cc cylinder with four valves.
The engine produces up to 36 hp and 37.7 Nm of torque, and has met the Euro 5+ emission standard. The CVT transmission system is combined with a 12 liter fuel tank capable of traveling about 300 kilometers in one full charge, as reported by Rushlane, Thursday, November 6.

The double crane range from tube steel provides optimal balance and strength. The front suspension uses a USD 41 mm fork, while behind it there are two shock dampers with a 120mm main distance each. For braking, a 300mm diameter front disk is used with a four-piston timesper and a 240mm two-piston rear disk.
The ABS system of two channels and traction control (ATC) comes as a standard safety feature and can be disabled according to the needs of motorists. SR GT 400 uses a Mytas Enduro Trail type tire measuring 120/70 in front rims 16 inches and 150/70 on 14 inches back rims.
This choice of tires confirms its ability to explore various terrains, both urban roads and semi off-road light lanes. Although Aprilia has not announced its official schedule or market price, the SR GT 400 is predicted to be a strong competitor in the mid-event scooter segment.
