Capital Market Investor Tembus 19.15 Million As Of October 2025

JAKARTA PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) noted that until the end of October 2025, the number of Indonesian capital market investors had reached 19,154,487 single investor identification (SID).

IDX President Director Iman Rachman explained that of this number, new capital market investors in 2025 reached 4,282,848 SID, or an increase of 58.4 percent compared to the addition of 2,703,578 new investors in 2024.

"The number of stock investors on the IDX has reached 8,083,076 SID, with a growth of 1,701,632 new stock investors throughout 2025, up 51.2 percent compared to the growth of 1,125,873 new stock investors in 2024," he said in his statement, Thursday, November 6.

Iman said that the increase in the number of investors shows the stronger public awareness of investing, especially the younger generation under the age of 30 who are now increasingly active and confident in investing.

"This achievement is the result of the IDX's commitment with all stakeholders in carrying out various consistent and directed educational and literacy activities, such as the Capital Market School, Teachers of Stock Investors, and CMSE," he said.

In addition, he also explained that throughout March 'October 2025, the IDX had held 101 Road to CMSE activities in various regions, followed by more than 185,000 participants and added 184,000 new investors.

CMSE 2025 itself which lasted two days, presented 13 speakers, 6 moderators, 88 booths, and 95 tenants recorded high enthusiasm and increased compared to 2024.

Meanwhile, the total registrants of CMSE 2025 reached 25,180 people, an increase of 105.9 percent, with 48,308 visitors, an increase of 12.3 percent. Of these, 11,682 investors attended directly or rose 51.4 percent, and 36,626 followed virtually via the IDX's YouTube and nobar at various IDX Representative Offices.

Until the end of October 2025, the IDX through its Representative Office network has carried out 14,993 educational activities throughout Indonesia which were attended by 14,333,853 participants. Of these, 5,415 activities were carried out digitally and 9,578 activities were carried out face-to-face and hybrid. Of all these educational activities, 319,177 participants have opened securities accounts.

Iman conveyed that with these various achievements, the IDX's commitment to continue to increase capital market inclusion and public financial literacy through a sustainable, collaborative, and inclusive approach.

In the future, he hopes that more people will not only know the capital market, but also actively participate as part of national economic growth that is competitive and sovereign.
