Rifan Kalbuadi Releases Depakote Song, Invites Listeners To Restore Balance In Life
JAKARTA - Singer-songwriter Rifan Kalbuadi released a single titled Depakote. A song inspired by the phenomenon of living in a metropolitan city where high social standards determine almost all aspects of life.
Through this song, Rifan invites his listeners to set aside time and digest and filter out all distortions and external and internal disturbances. Yes, Rifan wants his listeners to be able to restore balance in life and return to functioning normally as human beings.
"I feel that we sometimes need to be selfish - in the context of being able to ignore many things - in order to find a state of balance and to regain full control over ourselves," Rifan said according to an official statement received by the editor.
The lyrics themselves do not tell a story that flows chronologically. Instead, depict images of impressions neatly arranged in rhyming poems.
