PLN Signs 1,800 MVA PJBTL To Industrial Estates In West Java And Central Java
PT PLN (Persero) signed an Electric Power Sale and Purchase Agreement (PJBTL) with industrial customers in Industrial Estates in West Java and Special Economic Zones (KEK) in Central Java with a total capacity of 1,800 megavolt amperes (MVA).
President Director of PT United Power Indonesia, Jony Oktavian, said that PLN electricity is very important and requires industrial estates and SEZs in Indonesia to continue to grow.
"We would like to thank PLN for always facilitating electricity in the SEZ. All in collaboration with PLN to provide electricity and provide the best for Indonesia," said Jony, quoted Thursday, November 6.
PLN President Director, Darmawan Prasodjo, emphasized that the provision of reliable and affordable electricity is an important foundation for national economic growth. According to him, the signing of this PJBTL is not only about channeling power, but also opens up new investment opportunities, creates jobs, and strengthens the competitiveness of the domestic industry.
"Electricity is the main driver of the economy. With electricity infrastructure that is getting stronger and more reliable, industries can grow, investment increases, and jobs are created. PLN is committed to ensuring electricity becomes an inclusive and sustainable catalyst for economic growth," said Darmawan.

He added that PLN also continues to strengthen clean energy supply in line with the Government's policy direction in the 2025-2034 Electric Power Supply Business Plan (RUPTL).
"In the future, the PLN electricity system will be greener, reliable, and more efficient. We continue to encourage the increase in the portion of EBT so that energy supply is not only clean, but also affordable for all levels of society and business actors," he concluded.
